Canada and Mexico are our largest trading partners and thousands of cross-border shipments move every day. This workshop will cover current procedures and documentation requirements for U.S. exports and imports, how to avoid delays and potential problems in cross-border trucking, as well as cargo claims, liability limitations, time limits and cargo insurance under U.S., Canadian and Mexican law and bills of lading. Also discussed will be the status of the “U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement” and border security programs like CTPAT, Mexico’s OEA Security Program and Canada’s Partners in Protection (PIP) certification
